Our little workshop in Ajman industrial area just got a shipment of some chemicals in those blue plastic drums and I severely underestimated how much of a pain it is to get them up into the bed of the truck with just two guys and a prayer especially when the ground is uneven and the pallet jack keeps getting stuck on gravel. My back is still reminding me of that genius move from yesterday and I’m not trying to repeat it next week when the next batch arrives. Someone told me to look at crateco’s other section because apparently they carry Over Pack Drums & Pallet Ramps but I honestly have no idea if those ramps are rated for the kind of weight we’re talking about or if they’ll just slide off the tailgate the second we start pushing. Also I can’t tell from the photos online if the surface has any kind of grip texture because the last thing I need is a 200 liter drum doing a slow motion roll backwards onto someone’s foot while we’re both sweating buckets in this humidity. Anybody around here got a setup like this or am I better off just hiring a guy with a proper liftgate next time.
