This agency has been calling me non-stop, sometimes multiple times a day, including early morning and late evening. They’ve threatened lawsuits and wage garnishment if I don’t pay immediately. I’m stressed out and not even sure the debt is fully correct because I never got anything in writing from them.

I know debt collectors have to follow rules, but this feels like harassment. I found this article explaining what they can’t legally do, which was helpful: https://protectionforconsumers.com/is-asap-processing-harassing-you-about-a-debt-know-your-rights/

Has anyone dealt with them before? What actually works to get them to back off or verify the debt? I’m thinking of sending a formal debt validation letter but worried it might make things worse. Any advice is appreciated.

I hope this helps you share your experience and get the support you need.

ASAP Processing calls can feel persistent and annoying, but you can reduce them by blocking the numbers, requesting removal from their contact list, and reporting unwanted calls to your phone provider or relevant consumer protection authority.
