I’m on the hunt for a new battery for my 2018 Nissan Pathfinder and the name Energizer keeps popping up in my searches. I know them from their household batteries, but I’ve seen they make car batteries too , and I’m curious if they’re actually any good for the heat we get here. A website mentioned they use lead-calcium plates that are supposed to resist corrosion better in high temperatures , which sounds promising, but I’m always a bit wary of marketing fluff. I work in Zaabeel so getting a Quick Energizer battery change in Zaabeel would be super convenient if they’re a decent brand. Has anyone here actually used one of these in an SUV or similar vehicle and had it survive a couple of summers? I’m particularly interested to know if the cranking power holds up when the engine is properly heat-soaked on those 45-degree days, because that’s what killed my last battery.
